The Roadmap

Xoriant’s people team wanted to eliminate any bias from their recruiting practice, and hire engineers purely based on merit. To achieve this, they wanted to start a skill-based hiring practice.

Xoriant has 4 business units that contain over a dozen delivery centers. Together, they hire hundreds of engineers every year. The company wanted to establish a skill-benchmarking system across all four units, so that they followed an approved standard for recognising and recruiting quality engineering talent.

Xoriant’s recruiting needs were enormous. Owing to the size and nature of their business, the company’s hiring needs were growing at an incredible pace.   • Once their entire candidate pool had taken the assessment, HackerEarth helped them shortlist the most skilled candidates instantly.In addition to this, Xoriant was able to get a detailed report on each candidate’s developer skills, which gave them a 360 degree view of the person’s technical capabilities.

Xoriant was able to standardize hiring practices across their four business units with incredible ease. They referred to HackerEarth’s skill benchmarking feature, which showed how each candidate’s skills compared to the global standard. This allowed the company to set a data-led benchmark for different skills, which made it easy to only hire talent that made the cut. They also standardized assessments for each kind of developer role across all business units.
